My name is Eric Merin, and I'm your 2009-2010 JSU President. I'm from West Hartford, Connecticut and I am going to be a Senior next year. I have been involved in JSU since my Freshmen year, when I was on Freshmen Council. Since then I have served as Israel Co-Chair and Programming Vice President. Outside of JSU, I am also a member of Alpha Epsilon Pi. I love politics, UConn basketball, traveling, and JSU bar nights. I'm excited for the upcoming year and feel free to e-mail me about anything!

Executive Vice President
Name: Lindsay Seidenberg
Hometown: Deerfield, Illinois

Hey guys!
I'm Lindsay Seidenberg, and your new executive vice president!! I was previously social action co-chair and communications vp for JSU, and I have a ton of new and exciting ideas just for you. I am a sophomore communication major and Spanish minor. I hate cream cheese. A lot. I'm from Chicago, and proud of it. I am most likely the most sarcastic person you will ever know. My friends say I'm not funny. I disagree.
Go Cubs!!

Finance Vice President
Name: Jaclyn Gurwitz
Hometown: Potomac, Maryland

Heyy I'm rising sophomore Jaclyn Gurwitz. I'm Leah and I'm so excited to be serving as your Programming VP for JSU this year. I'm a junior majoring in Psychology originally from Long Island, New York. I previously served as Education Co-chair on JSU's cabinet last year. I love the color pink and am obsessed with my dog Kobi (He's a black standard poodle, in case you were curious). I started dancing since I was 3, and I'm proud to say that my Hebrew Birthday is on Israel Independence Day. I'm very involved in Dance, in the Infant Studies Lab where I work as a research assistant, and in Hillel and the Jewish Community here at school. I love Reeses, coffee, and vanilla fro-yo Israeli dancing at camp (a little too much). In fact, I'm obsessed with anything having to do with Israel. Wow..awesome. I can't wait to plan great events for JSU this year.

Communication Vice President
Name: Ilana Knobel
Hometown: Los Angeles, California

Heyy, my name is Ilana Knobel and I am stoked to be your Communications VP! I am a sophomore majoring in Psychology and minoring in Jewish Studies. I was previously Greek Chair for JSU and I am a member of Sigma Delta Tau. I am not even remotely ticklish (don’t even bother trying), I love Israel to the point where it’s almost embarrassing, I hate chocolate and most sweets and I am obsessed with Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. I hate carrying a purse but if I ever do have one I always have tide-to-go and advil. I’m just that cool, I know.

Organization Vice President
Name: Laura Galanti
Hometown: Atlanta, Georgia

I'm Laura Galanti a junior Special Education major.
